The last few years have seen American dubstep wonder Skrillex delivering a series of acclaimed EPs, including his Grammy-winning 2011 outing, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites. In case you wanted to sample some of those wub-wubbing electronic outings on old-school, analogue vinyl, the man born Sonny Moore has just announced he'll deliver three of his oeuvres in a special edition vinyl box set that Big Beat/OWSLA/Warner Music will deliver on December 4.
A press release confirms that Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, its follow-up More Monsters and Sprites and his most recent effort, Bangarang will all be offered up on separate slabs of 180-gram, 12-inch vinyl. The discs will be housed in "a custom-made hard-shell acrylic case adorned with a die cut Skrillex logo on the front," which you can see in the photo above. The package also comes with an exclusive 12-page photo booklet.
On top of the EP material, the package will come with a download card that will let you access seven bonus remixes from the likes of Kaskade, Phonat and Zedd. Oddly, six of the seven remixes are for "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites," while the final exclusive offering is Bare Noize's redo of "Kill EVERYBODY."
