Sinéad O'Connor: "I Never Wanna Spend Time with White People Again"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 6, 2018

Troubled singer Sinéad O'Connor recently converted to Islam and changed her name to Shuhada Davitt, and now she has denounced all "white people."

In a tweet this morning, the singer revealed that she never wants to "spend time with white people again (if that's what non-Muslims are called)." She went on to call them "disgusting."

O'Connor continued on a rant against men inciting violence in ancient religious texts and calling women to action.

The Irish-born singer then took aim at Christian and Jewish theologians for glossing over their own faith's histories of religious violence, particularly targeting Trump supporters and her own home country of Ireland.

She closed out by saying that "If it's crazy to care… by all means, spank my ass and call me Fruity loops." Whatever that means.
