Simian Mobile Disco contribute to Nike series

London DJ duo Simian Mobile Disco are the latest to be tapped for Nike’s "Original Run” mixtape series. Their 27-minute jaunt, known simply as Run, allows the band to join the esteemed ranks of LCD Soundsystem, Aesop Rock and A-Trak. The mix is available now from iTunes. The track mimics a regular exercise session, with a warm up, maximum speed and cool down. It’s a little less stressful than exercising out to the Locust, I suppose.

The duo are currently hard at work on their second full-length album, which is set to feature vocal contributions from Beth Ditto and the Super Furry Animals’ Gruff Rhys.
