Burlington, ON screamo vets Silverstein haven't quite delivered the details on their forthcoming debut for New Damage/Rise Records, but that's not stopping the group from announcing a sprawling North American tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2005 album Discovering the Waterfront.
In addition to a handful of previously announced December dates with Seaway, the band will be tackling a much fuller tour in the new year. In addition to Silverstein's recent website update modelled after a vintage MySpace profile promoting Discovering the Waterfront, tourmates Beartooth unveiled a promo poster via Facebook confirming the anniversary plans.
Kicking off in London, ON, on January 15, the anniversary trip will have Silverstein zig-zagging across the U.S./Canada border until the end of February. Up-north appearances have been booked between Winnipeg and Vancouver, and the trip caps February 28 in Toronto. Beartooth will support on selected dates, with Hands Like Houses, Major League and My Iron Lung also appearing throughout the tour.

In a statement, Silverstein vocalist Shane Told said, "Ten years later we still feel so passionate about Discovering the Waterfront. A lot of times as a musician you go back and listen to your old work and wish you could change some things, but with Discovering I still feel like everything is in the right place. It was a special record where everything came together so well. For both us and our fans, we grew up with these songs and now to be together under one roof all celebrating them is going to be a special, once in a lifetime event."
As previously reported, Silverstein have plans to put out a new album via New Damage/Rise in the spring of 2015, marking their first full-length release since 2013's This Is How the Wind Shifts.
