Silver Morning "Something Real" (Current Sessions video)
Silver Morning are the latest Toronto band to team up with the Current Sessions video series, and Exclaim! has got your first look at their filmed rendition of "Something Real."

The experimental indie group create music that mirrors their hometown; just as the Don Valley cuts a green streak through a sea of concrete, Silver Morning aim to make music that fuses both organic instrumentation and synthetic elements. Members of other local bands like Edgewater Hotel, Ginger Ale & the Monowhales, and Do Tell comprise Silver Morning's lineup, and they come together to craft songs about "yearning, loss, renewal, and rebirth."

The new live video of "Something Real" shows off the band's folksier, stripped-down side, and was recorded at Toronto tea and boardgame café, Bampot. Vocalist Caitlin Comeau delivers angelic croons above a backdrop of acoustic guitar and two synthesizers. See and hear it for yourself by watching the clip below.
