Sigur Ros Preview New Album In Full On Last.fm
In a bid to satisfy fans who play fair, Sigur Rós have made their new album, Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust, available to listen to in full through music-based social networking site, Last.fm.

Mirroring the move Coldplay made last week by airing their album in its entirety on MySpace, the decision was most likely made to help fight off the temptation to illegally download the album, which leaked onto file-sharing sites and blogs over the weekend.

The difficult-to-pronounce fifth album (which means "With a buzz in our ears we play endlessly” in English) by the Icelandic band will not hit shops for another two weeks (June 23), but front-man Jónsi Birgisson feels that the band's devoted fan base will embrace the free and lawful preview on the site, saying, "We know our fans listen to Last.fm so it’s the perfect place to be listening to our new album.”
