Sigur Rós have announced plans to release an as-yet-untitled new album in June — their first in a decade. To celebrate, the Icelandic trio have asked a 41-piece orchestra to join them on an international tour this summer.

The tour begins across the pond at London's Meltdown Festival with the London Contemporary Orchestra on June 16, after which the group will hit Amsterdam, Hamburg and Paris, before heading to Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall on August 14 for the North American leg supported by the Wordless Music Orchestra. That date marks the lone Canadian performance along the trek.

Tickets for the trek go on sale March 24 at 10 a.m. local time. See the schedule below.

Further details on the forthcoming album remain scant, but in the meantime, Sigur Rós fans can revisit ( )'s 20th anniversary remastered reissue that arrived back in November.
