"Until Then" (Broadcast cover)

Last week, Broadcast's Trish Keenan passed away suddenly due to complications from pneumonia. Now, the Sight Below and Benoît Pioulard are paying tribute to the artist with a collaborative cover of the Broadcast track "Until Then."

Here how the Sight Below's Rafael Anton Irisarri explained the track's origin:

Cover version of "Until Then" I recorded with Benoît Pioulard this week. Benoit and I were working on our collaborative project this week and decided to record one of our favorite songs as a tribute. We were both extremely saddened by Trish Keenan's untimely death. She was a brilliant, talented artist and her music became a huge inspiration to both of us. R.I.P. Trish, we'll miss you.

The resulting work is haunting and sonically warm, exactly what one would expect from these two atmospheric musicians, as the track builds to a distant white noise climax with acoustic guitar and piano. It's a fitting tribute to Keenan's legacy, as well as a suggestion of good things to come from this ongoing collaboration.
