Sieg Uber Die Sonne

Electro, house and synth pop with vocals, only what makes this recording interesting is the humour in the melodies and the vocals, especially on tracks like "You'll Never Come Back." Sieg Uber Die Sonne (aka Conquering The Sun) is Pink Elln, who collaborates with Atom Heart and Dandy Jack (known to loan his face to Senor Coconut). The tunes on this CD, for the most part, are light-hearted with some serious dance floor tracks, like "Hot," and, oddly enough, a pretty good ambient track in "Asyncope." It is refreshing to encounter electronic producers with obvious skill who take a fun approach to making music in a world of pallid, music makers who sullenly stare at their laptops.
