"Rearview" (video)

Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based indie-pop duo Sibling are getting ready to release their debut LP later this year, but ahead of its arrival, they've unveiled a new video for "Rearview."

The track initially appeared on last year's self-titled EP, and the shimmering synth-fuelled song has now been matched with a clip that visualizes the song's concept of memory against a backdrop of a desert road trip.

"I wrote the lyrics to 'Rearview' on the side of the Pacific Coast Highway, so when it came to shooting the video, capturing some of our favourite California spots had to happen," singer Elodie Tomlinsin tells Exclaim! "We went down to Joshua Tree, the pier and the PCH. It's about a friendship that ended, but looking back on the good times instead of the downfall."

You can see that sunshine-y imagery and optimistic outlook come to life on screen by watching the video for "Rearview" down below.
