Published Jan 23, 2008The Shortlist Music Prize, essentially the equivalent of the UK's Mercury Prize and Canada's Polaris Prize, has announced its nominees for the best album of 2007. Chosen by a group of five "listmakers" that includes Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, the Killers' Ronnie Vannucci, CMJ journalist Rev. Moose, KCRW DJ Chris Douridas, and the hosts of Hunnypot Internet Radio, the ten nominees were selected from a longer list of 54 albums.
