While West Coast-bred musician Al Boyle's move from Vancouver to Toronto threw his Hard Feelings unit into an indefinite hiatus, another of his bands, Shitty Neighbours, have decided to make a go of it as a cross-country affair. The garage punk group are still alive and kicking, and will be playing out on a string of Canadian shows between September and October.
First up is a BC-to-Saskatchewan trip, which starts September 12 in Fernie, BC. The band then head to Calgary, Regina, and Lethbridge, AB. The dudes will take a little time off at their respective homes before getting back together on Boyle's side of the country and play a handful of October dates in Quebec and Ontario. You can check the full schedule down below.
Shitty Neighbours have also just delivered a video for their "Wreck That Girl" single, which is available through their Bandcamp site. The video is a pretty lo-fi affair that mostly features a bunch of shots of Boyle having a chat against a brick wall. After gulping down a tall boy of Old Milwaukee and sucking back a couple ciggys, though, the dude's magically transported into an eggy frying pan. You can check out the somewhat subversive PSA nod down below.
Tour dates:
9/12 Fernie, BC - TBA
9/13 Calgary, AB - Broken City
9/14 Regina, SK - O'Hanlon's
9/15 Lethbridge, AB - The Slice (CKXU After Party)

10/21 Toronto, ON - Parts And Labour

10/24 Kingston, ON - Tba
10/25 Hamilton, ON - Casbah
