Shaggy-haired Saskatoon rock'n'roll crew the Sheepdogs are giving us another early taste of their forthcoming fifth full-length, Future Nostalgia. This time, they've affixed honky-tonk piano and a few lines about the working life onto "Same Old Feeling."
It's a mellowed-out if slightly remiss look at going through the motions. The rainy-day vibe only gets worse via couplets like "Work all night to pay me my dues / Burned out and haunted by the same old news."
Though burdened by the daily grind, the band seem to be cooking enough to almost forget their worries. You can stream the song down below, courtesy of Paste, while Future Nostalgia hits stores October 2 through Warner Music.
