The Canadian Country Music Awards were handed out at a ceremony in Hamilton last night (September 9), and host Shania Twain proved to be the evening's biggest winner.

She took home four trophies, including Top Selling Album of the Year, Top Selling Canadian Album of the Year and the Apple Music Fans' Choice Award. She was also given the CCMA Generation Award, which was presented by Alessia Cara.

On top of getting all those awards, Twain was treated to a ceremony-opening tribute performance by Jess Moskaluke, Kira Isabella and Madeline Merlo. Watch the homage down below.

Other performers throughout the show included Brett Kissel and Serena Ryder, Terri Clark, Keith Urban and Walmart yodelling sensation Mason Ramsey.

Twain wasn't the only one who took home hardware, though. Other winners include Jess Moskaluke for FORD Album of the Year, Meghan Patrick for Female Artist of the Year, the Washboard Union for Group or Duo of the Year, Dallas Smith for Male Artist of the Year, the Reklaws for Sirius XM Rising Star, and James Barker Band for Single of the Year.
