Having delivered his Revelations LP late last year, Shamir is set to follow up the full-length with a double A-side mini-effort next month. He's now shared the first track from the effort, titled "Room," which arrives alongside a video.
The clip, which finds Shamir waking up to start his day, can be found in the player below.
As he told The Fader, the song is about "feeling trapped even when there's an opening presented to you, those times you feel stuck and depressed to the point that making it out of bed feels like an impossible feat. 'Room' is a song for those that need that extra push to keep going and take advantage of all the open doors put in your path."
The Room 7-inch EP is set to arrive March 9 through Father/Daughter Records.
