Shahman Return with 'Fragments of a Distant Light,' Premiere New Video
Long-running Toronto duo Shahman have just unveiled plans to release their third full-length album.

The release is called Fragments of a Distant Light and sees the duo continue to uncover new sonic ground via heavy post-hardcore and thoughtful songwriting.

A press release suggests that the album is a return to their roots as the band members are "opening doors to past lives and returning with them as if they were unearthed ornaments of an abandoned past."

The album will arrive on September 23 via Art of the Uncarved Block. It can be preordered here.

Prior to its arrival, Shahman have given Exclaim! an exclusive taste of the album with the animated video for their song "Before the sun rose, she would strike a chord." The clip, which was directed by visual artist Joucous. Watch it below.
