Sex Pistols

There Is No Future

BY Rob FerrazPublished Feb 1, 2002

The Sex Pistols are one of those bands whose bootlegged output outnumbers their legitimate release by about ten times. The 16 tracks on this are all pre-Sid Vicious-era live and demo tracks. The sound quality isn't stellar, it isn't even good, but that's punk rock for you. And if you're used to Never Mind The Bollocks it may take a few listens to appreciate this one. In addition to the hits, like two versions of "Anarchy In The UK," and "Pretty Vacant," plus "God Save The Queen," this also contains under appreciated tunes like "Satellite," "I Wanna Be Me" and the Stooges cover "No Fun." If you're a fan of the Pistols, you will want to check this out.
