Sevendust

Sevendust may be heavier than the Goo Goo Dolls, but heavier doesn't always mean better. They diddle with the lowest common denominator of musical creativity: basic 4/4 timings, bland power chords, rock riff chugging, simplistic verse-chorus-verse structuring and guest appearances all packaged with a baggy pant and body-pierced image. The dextrous vocal chords of Lajon Witherspoon are not enough to explain the success of this lot.
