Published Jan 08, 2010The second weekend of 2010 has arrived and so have new movies. Head on over to the Exclaim! Recently Reviewed motion section to get the down-low on what's new in theatres this week.
The centre of this generation's brat pack, Michael Cera, stars in Youth In Revolt, directed by Miguel Arteta. The film follows Cera, who takes the "bad boy" approach in an attempt to win the girl, and is another comedic performance from the same, yet reliably humorous, character Cera is famous for.
For yet another colour-by-numbers Hollywood chick-flick, head out to see Leap Year, starring Amy Adams. Her character travels to Ireland to propose to her boyfriend, but is surprisingly swayed along the way and ends up meeting someone else whom she probably proposes to instead - but we won't spoil the review for you.
And as if there weren't enough vampire films and TV shows out there already, Daybreakers hits the silver screen today. Starring Ethan Hawke and Williem Dafoe, the film is set in 2019 and is filled with plenty of blood-sucking and antagonistic scuffles in order to keep humanity, and perhaps your interest, alive.
So before you hit the theatres this weekend, make sure to check out the Exclaim! Recently Reviewed movie section to see what's worth going out for.
