See Chance the Rapper Model for "Thank U Obama" Clothing Line

Chance the Rapper recently visited Washington, DC, to bid Barack Obama farewell, but now he's taken his appreciation for the former president one step further. The Chicago MC has just unveiled a set of photos that see him modelling for a "Thank U Obama" clothing line.

The threads themselves are the work of JoeFreshGoods, who explained the inspiration behind the project in a statement that reads:

with this project i wanted to timestamp a period in my life where i felt like i can do whatever i wanted to do and be whatever i wanted to be. The night obama won his first term gave me so much hope, especially & most importantly as a black man. I decided to make a collection saying "thank you" and give me something to smile at every now and then when i look in the closet.

Chance the Rapper has teamed up with the designer, starring in a photoshoot for the new line. The results see him sporting everything from an eagle-embellished basketball jersey to college sweater-style "MALIA" shirt to a retro spraypaint "Barack n Michele" tee — and, of course, a shirt featuring Barack himself donning a crown.

You can see a few shots of Chance modelling the clothes below, and head over here to peruse the whole collection.

And as if bagging Chance for the campaign wasn't cool enough, the former first daughter has apparently given the line her stamp of approval too.
