Secret Chiefs Announce West Coast Tour in Support of 'Book of Souls: Folio A,' Play Vancouver

Now that Secret Chiefs 3 are set to release their Book of Souls: Folio A, the experimental outfit have announced they'll support the second instalment of their long-in-the-works "mega-trilogy" with a quick run of West Coast tour dates.

Web of Mimicry, which issues the LP next Tuesday (November 26), has revealed the tour itinerary, and it kicks off at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on February 4. That's it for Canada this time around, as Secret Chiefs 3 will make their way down to California and wrap things up in San Francisco. The band had, however, made it to Toronto for a two-night stand last May. You'll find the upcoming show info down below.

As previously reported, Book of Souls: Folio A has been a decade in the making, with recording sessions spread out over the years in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, the UK and France. The "small army of musicians" on the record include band leader Trey Spruance, Timb Harris, Ches Smith, Shahzad Ismaily, Anonymous 13, Danny Heifetz, William Winant, with live-band initiates Matt Lebofsky, Kenny Grohowski and Toby Driver. To the delight of fans, no doubt, Secret Chief apparently "remain blissfully ignorant of current musical fashions" on the LP.
