The promised collaboration between outsider artist Scott Walker and drone lords Sunn O))) is all but guaranteed to be a devastatingly uncomfortable listen. For better or worse, the album has been delayed for a month.
Called Soused, it was originally meant to surface on September 22 via 4AD. Now, it's been delayed until October 20.
While no reason was given, the label did prove it's serious about the release by sharing its album art. Available above, it should surprise no one that the cover is dark, murky and terrifying.
There's also a brief snippet of music from the release. Complete with Walker's haunting vocals and some heavy guitar fuzz, it can be streamed below.
