Toronto punk outfit School Damage are finally gearing up for the release of their long-awaited LP Battered Lives, and before the record arrives in May, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to hear the entire thing right now.
A press release describes Battered Lives as the band's most mature effort to date, taking aim at "the subjects that welcome us all into adulthood: making the best of any situation, struggling with the concept of getting older and the ups and downs of life on the road, all delivered with a tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek and a stiff drink in hand." That said, the concept of aging shouldn't worry anyone, as the trio show they're still chock full of raw pop-punk power over the course of 13 tracks, staying true to their formula of "fast, fun and fucked up."
Battered Lives will arrive this coming May, with pre-orders for both vinyl and CD editions taking place in March over here. In the meantime, you can hear the entire album for yourself in the player below.
