Sectorseven

BY Jasamine White-GluzPublished Jan 1, 2006

With humble beginnings playing in barns, Sectorseven have come into their own with their latest self-titled release. Sectorseven is a disc full of skate-worthy tracks, coming fully equipped with breakneck riffs, on cue group shouting and totally honest lyrics. Despite the recent departure of guitarist Ryan Allan, Sectorseven prove that they can rock just as loud as a quartet, but although the album is an intense 12 songs, Sectorseven seems too afraid to break any punk rock boundaries. The songwriting is typical and often predictable, with some songs even sounding indiscernible from each other. That aside, if you're looking for solid punk rock in the vein of Pennywise or Good Riddance, Sectorseven will be a decent asset to the album collection.
