It took nearly 13 years for Canadian rap vet Saukrates to release Season One, the follow-up to his debut solo LP, The Underground Tapes. Thankfully, fans won't have to wait that long for new material, as the Big Black Lincoln leader and Redman associate has just shared some details in regards to his forthcoming Culvert Music/Universal Music Canada EP, Amani, which hits shelves on September 23.

According to a press release, the recording features the same "staccato delivery, certain style and grace" we've come to expect from the rapper, but is aided this time around by additional production from the likes of up-and-comers Rich Kidd and Snaz.

While the release won't be out for another month, you can get a taste for the new EP by watching the video for lead single "Kingdom Come," which finds the Scarborough-based rhymer showing off his neighbourhood by taking us on a tour of the geological wonder that is the Scarborough Bluffs.

Watch the video below, and look out for more info on the mini-effort in the near future.
