Saskatoon's Close Talker Book Western Canadian Tour in Support of Debut Album
Remember in Seinfeld when Elaine dates the so-called "close talker," played by Judge Reinhold? Well, here's a band that's clearly familiar with that episode: Saskatoon's Close Talker. The group released an album earlier this year, and now they're preparing to support it with a Canadian summer tour.

The outing will focus on Western Canada, where the band will kick off the summer with some festival engagements in their home province. From there, they will head out to Alberta in August and play a string of gigs in British Columbia. There are 14 shows in all. See the schedule below.

The band's album Timbers came out back in February. According to a press release, "the quartet don't pull any punches when demonstrating what can be achieved with the understated power of their four-piece." Get a taste of this by streaming the entire album at the bottom of the page. A free download of the track "The West Was Won" is also below.

Expect more dates to follow. The band plan to record a new album later this year.
