Saracen

“Mass Transit”/“Concentration”

BY James KeastPublished Dec 1, 1999

These transplanted Torontonians now call London, UK home, and they’ve already taken on the guitar noodling tendencies of their adopted homeland’s rock scene. At times they could drift along with the best of Ride or Kula Shaker; it’s amazing that one could get bored in the space of two songs. Not a bad band, but not a lot of ideas here. The back cover story about how they came to be (it all comes down to General Wolfe dying at the Battle of Quebec) is great, though.
