SappyFest returns to Sackville, NB, this summer, and the initial list of performers has just been announced.
Topping the list of artists at SappyFest 14 are Snotty Nose Rez Kids, the Weather Station and Haviah Mighty.
Rounding out the list of performers so far are acts like Apollo Ghosts, FET.NAT, Motherhood, JOYFULTALK, Deliluh, Julie Aubé, Mauno and Tryal.
In addition to musical performances, the festival will feature "Short&Sweet" — a collection of under-three-minute presentations by dancers and artists, curated by contemporary dancer Katie Ewald.
Alex Samaras of Tryal will also host a group singing workshop that will culminate in a performance by participants.
SappyFest runs from August 2 to 4 in Sackville, NB. Tickets are currently available at early bird prices until May 12.
