With less than a month away from the ninth instalment of Maritime music festival SappyFest, organizers are still ironing out all the lineup details. It's now been revealed that the event will also feature performances from the likes of Shotgun Jimmie and Baby Eagle.
As previously announced, this year's SappyFest runs August 1 through 3 in Sackville, NB, and features a reunion performance from Shotgun & Jaybird, but it's now been confirmed that Shotgun Jimmie will be holding it down solo as well. Other adds to the lineup include Baby Eagle, Halifax rapper XXX CLVR and West Coast indie artist Rose Melberg.
This is, of course, in addition to a bill that also includes the recently revived Constantines, as well as Julie Doiron, Basia Bulat, PS I Love You, Cousins, Ought, Rae Spoon, Bry Webb, Michael Feuerstack, Dusted, Cool, and more.
A weekend pass for the fest standard weekend passes runs at $89.25 and can be purchased either via Ticketpro or from the SappyFest office in Sackville.
