Santigold Announces North American Tour

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Mar 26, 2009

Santigold (aka the artist formerly known as Santogold) is on deck to embark upon a North American spring tour.

Along with several U.S. and festival dates, the Brooklyn-based singer will visit Toronto and Montreal on the road show, which currently promises to feature a full band and a posse of back-up dancers. Sexed-up Philly MC Amanda Blank will be serving as an opener on all the dates, as will Trouble Andrew, who you may remember from the Santigold track "I'm a Lady."

According to the press release, this "endless dance party" comes as Santigold prepares to head back to the studio to record the follow-up to her pretty massive self-titled debut. However, the PR gives no word on when we can actually expect a new album from Miss Santi White.
