Santigold Announces '99¢' Album, Premieres New Single

Although Santigold has been treating fans to a scattering of one-off projects in recent years, she hasn't released a full-length since 2012's Master of My Make-Believe. That's set to change, as the pop performer has revealed that her next album is called 99¢.

Santigold announced the LP on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, when she premiered the bright, bubbly self-empowerment anthem "Can't Get Enough of Myself." Hear that joyous pop track below.

Santigold spoke with Lowe about the new album. Regarding the title, she said, "Everything is a product at this point, including people and relationships, and everything is about marketing products. So, I'm a product. And also, everything is undervalued, you know, so I thought 99 cents was a good price for me and my life and all my hard work."

Thats the album cover above. A release date for 99¢ hasn't been confirmed yet, but presumably the wait won't be too much longer.
