Santi White took the stage with a bigger band than that of her last Sasquatch! appearance, the one that set YouTube ablaze care of that party-starting dancer and his impromptu flash mob. Initially sporting turquoise and gold outfits with floral trim, her team went through various subtle costume changes while staying consistently bizarre; her performing male trio started festive and moved to a white sailor-like look, while her back-up dancers, who ate up the stage with playful yet robotic routines, shifted through cheerleader outfits to black and white Sunday dresses with coordinated umbrellas and beyond. Feeding off the crowd's throbbing energy, White made eye contact with as many of the thousands who filed in during her set as possible, contact underscored by her bright, enthusiastic smile. Add in some tribal beats and heartfelt singing, and Santigold's sound was fun, ferocious, positive and together.
