It's been half a year since visionary Toronto fusionist Sandro Perri delivered his jazz-meets-indie-meets-electronic album Impossible Spaces. Having had let listeners sit with the disc for a while, the artist is now ready to put a different spin on some of that album's highlights via a pair of remix twelve-inches.
Details are hazy at best, but according to a press sheet, DFA Records will drop its Perri-related remix single sometime soon, and it will feature a version of "Changes" from UK-based producer Zongamin, which you can stream below. A release date has yet to be set.
Resista Records will also be delivering a remix of Perri's tunes, this time pulling from both Impossible Spaces and 2007's Tiny Mirrors. A tracklisting has not been unveiled in full, but the single will contain a Tom Croose remix of "Love & Light," which you can also check out at the bottom of the screen.
As previously reported, Perri has a handful of Canadian dates coming up in April, but the musician has since added a European tour and a U.S. trek with Destroyer to his spring schedule.
