Ontario's Sandbanks Provincial Park will once again play host to a music festival this fall, with the rebranded Sandbanks Music Festival taking over the park once more later this year.

Building on the tradition started by the Sandbanks New Waves Festival that was presented in both 2014 and 2015, the one-day event will take place on September 17. Headlining this year's event are Canadian alt-rock icons Sloan, who will see support from Snowblink and the Peter Elkas Band. Free pre-show festivities earlier in the day include performances from Taylor Knox and Jérémie Albino.

Limited advance tickets for the single day event are $30 and are available here. Last year's festival featured a headlining performance from Sarah Harmer alongside Apostle of Hustle, Thus Owls, AroarA, Miracle Fortress, Suuns and Jerusalem in My Heart, and Folly & the Hunter.

While September is still months away, follow Sandbanks Music Festival on Twitter and Facebook to keep up with all forthcoming festival news, and watch footage from the festival's inaugural year in the player below.
