Sam Roberts Band have a new album, The Adventures of Ben Blank, coming out next month — and they're continuing to up the anticipatory ante with the announcement of a 2024 North American tour, which will bring them to 11 Canadian cities next February and March.
The Adventures of Ben Blank tour marks the band's first stint "on the cold road," as they put it, in five years. The run kicks off on February 2 at Montreal's Beanfield Theatre before the outfit are due to play four shows across Ontario — Ottawa's Yow Stage (February 3), Kitchener's Centre in the Square (February 8), Toronto's History (February 9) and the London Music Hall (February 10). From there, the Sam Roberts Band will briefly dip into the US.
Thereafter, the rockers head westward, crossing back over the border to perform at Victoria's McPherson Theatre (February 23), Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom (February 24), the Kelowna Community Theatre (February 27), Calgary's Southern Jubilee Auditorium (February 29) and Edmonton's Northern Jubilee Auditorium (March 1) ahead of wrapping the tour on March 2 at the Red Deer Memorial Centre.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (September 15) at 10 a.m. local. Fans who pre-ordered The Adventures of Ben Blank will have first access tomorrow (September 12), followed by members of the SRB Official Fan Club. The band have also partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket supports War Child's work empowering children and families in communities affected by war.
