Back in January, Sally Shapiro producer Johan Agebjörn announced that he would be releasing two solo LPs in 2011. The first, an ambient record called The Mountain Lake, was released earlier this month via Lotuspike. Now, the Swedish electro whiz is gearing up for a pop disco album called Casablanca Nights.
The full-length will be preceded by a single, Watch the World Go By, which features Agebjörn's collaboration with Le Prix and Lake Heartbeat. The single will contain two remixes: one by Canadian pop newcomer Teen Daze that "reveals sultry harmonies and twinkling keyboards" and one by Skatebård that is "laced with pulsating disco," according to the press release. The original version of the song is said to channel Pet Shop Boys.
The single will be rounded out by the B-side "Don't Wait." It was made with Le Prix and Yota. And, yep, that's the single's cover art above.
