Sally Seltmann Retires Her New Buffalo Moniker for Upcoming Arts & Crafts Full-Length
While you might not know who Australian singer-songwriter Sally Seltmann is from her name alone, there's no question that you know her work. Earlier in the decade, she released two albums as New Buffalo, and even if that doesn't ring a bell, there's no question that most of North America knows the ubiquitous single she wrote with Feist, "1234." Now, Seltmann has hung up her New Buffalo moniker and announced the details for her first album under her own name.

Titled Heart That's Pounding, the album is expected next year from Arts & Crafts. It was produced by Architecture in Helsinki's Francois Tetaz, and there's a good chance that the album will include a number of interesting guests, as Seltmann has previously collaborated with Beth Orton, the Dirty Three, Jens Lekman and her husband, the Avalanches' Darren Seltmann.

An official tracklisting and release date are still forthcoming, but Arts & Crafts says the album will be ready this spring. In the meantime, the label have offered up the track "Harmony to My Heartbeat" as a free download, providing you cough up your email address. Check it out here.
