Following the success of last year's inaugural festival, Area 506 will be returning to Saint John, NB, this summer. The action will take place on the city's waterfront over the course of August 5 to 7, and the all-Canadian lineup for the 2017 edition has just been announced.
Saturday (August 5) will see the Main Stage graced by Tegan and Sara, Stars, David Myles and Jessica Rhaye, followed by Sunday (August 6) performances from the Strumbellas, Matt Mays, Bahamas, Grand Theft Bus and Les Hay Babies.
Additional programming will take place on a special Canada 150 Stage, featuring performances throughout the weekend from the Hypochondriacs, David in the Dark, Penny Blacks, Apryll Aileen, Mike Biggar, the Honeyboys, Tampa, Mike Biggar, Eloie Richard and Jane Blanchard.
Early-bird passes for Area 506 go on sale today (April 12) for $79. Once those are gone, regular weekend passes will run you $99; single day passes will cost $69.
