Said the Whale Spinoff Sunny Pompeii Announce Debut EP
You may be familiar with Spencer Schoening as the curly-haired, bespectacled drummer from Said the Whale. Well, as dedicated fans likely already know, he also fronts another band, the psych pop quartet Sunny Pompeii. On August 26, the group will release their debut EP, the punny Breakfast of Champignons.

The five-song disc was engineered by Owen Marmorek at the Nimbus School for Recording Arts and mixed by Paul Boechler at Vancouver's FaderMaster Studios.

Check out the tracklist below and scroll down for a free stream and download of the slow-building EP cut "Who Knows Who Knows." Past that, you can watch a live, home-recorded version of "Feeled."

The band will launch Breakfast of Champignons with a release day show in Vancouver at St. James Hall on August 26.

Breakfast of Champignons:

3. "6 & 5"
4. "Feeled"
