The Sadies Postpone All Western Canadian Dates Due to Injury

BY Josiah HughesPublished Feb 15, 2011

Yesterday (February 14), we reported that the Sadies were forced to call off an Edmonton show after the band's Dallas Good broke his leg in Saskatoon. Now, the group have had to postpone all their remaining Western Canadian dates due to the injury.

As previously stated, Good was en route to Saskatoon's Amigos for dinner on Sunday (February 13) when he slipped on some ice, suffering a compound fracture in his knee that required surgery. The band played their Saskatoon performance that night minus the singer, but an Edmonton show on Monday was cancelled. Now, dates in Calgary, Vancouver and Whistler have been postponed as well.

According to a press release, the Alberta and Saskatchewan dates will be made up in June. The rescheduled shows can be seen below. For now, Vancouver and Whistler make-up dates are missing from the schedule, but a Vancouver show is planned to be announced later this week.

Tickets for the cancelled shows will be honoured for the new dates, with refunds available at point of purchase.
