S U R V I V E

'RR7349' (album stream)

After paying homage to some of their influences via a recent FACT mix, Austin synth specialists S U R V I V E are giving us the straight goods via a stream of their much-anticipated RR7349. The band's first full-length for metal imprint Relapse Records is streaming in full right now via Exclaim!

As previously reported, RR7349 is the first release from the project since band members Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein skyrocketed to attention via their similarly minded score for Netflix drama Stranger Things. While not explicitly referencing the show, moody, high-tension keyboard stomps like "Wardenclyffe" feel like they could easily score a creepy journey into the Upside Down.

The collection also taps into '80s-illuminating elements of ambient electro and Carpenter synth whimsy via pieces like opener "A.H.B.", while the rumble and pop of "High Rise" hits hard with a contemporary, though creepy, snap.

You'll find the full release streaming below. S U R V I V E also have a number of upcoming U.S. tour dates, which you can find out more about over here.
