Röyksopp Announce North American Dates, Play Toronto and Montreal

Norwegian electronic artists Röyksopp may have dragged their feet on releasing Senior, the all-instrumental follow-up to Junior, but the group are hoping to make things up to fans via a new video and some North American tour dates.

Röyksopp have released the short film Senior Living, which jumbles a number of Senior tracks with footage of girls running around a barren urban landscape. The 11-minute clip, which can be seen below, has its fair share of creeped-out moments, including a dog licking a discarded skull, crosses being tossed from building tops and a scene where the teens co-mingle with some zombies in an abandoned building.

If the spooked-out video isn't your thing, but you enjoy Röyksopp's minimalist electro numbers, the announcement of a short North American tour, including stops in Toronto and Montreal, should be right up your alley.

Though Senior is already available in the digital realm, a physical release of the album will pop up in stores next Tuesday (November 23).

Tour dates:

3/18 Toronto, ON - The Guvernment

3/19 Montreal, QC - Club Soda

3/21 New York, NY - Webster Hall

3/23 Washington, DC - 9:30 Club

3/24 Atlanta, GA — Masquerade

3/25 Miami, FL - Ultra Music Festival
