Producer Ryan Hemsworth has managed to put a lot of rising artists in the spotlight via his Secret Songs label project. The next release from the digital imprint has Hemsworth getting even more directly involved, as he's teamed up with Seattle producer Lucas for a fully collaborative EP.
The pair worked on six songs together, including EP opener "Angel," which can be streamed below. As the SoundCloud write-up explains, "Angel" "looks to childhood and pop punk for inspiration."
The Taking Flight EP lifts off in full on October 9. The release's artwork, which also looks inspired by childhood and pop punk, is available above.
