Halifax-born beatsmith Ryan Hemsworth has been keeping busy ever since moving to Toronto, first by announcing a North American tour with Cyril Hahn, followed by news that his debut album, Guilt Trips, would be arriving October 22 via Last Gang Records. Now the increasingly organic studio magician has given us another taste of his upcoming release, this time in the form of a video for album cut "Against a Wall."
In this Lofty305-assisted clip, a young twenty-something can be seen perusing the wares of a Chinatown market and fiddling with her Hello Kitty cellphone. But things take on a more art-y direction once some subtitles enter the scene, as our protagonist begins taking photos of her cat and feasting mindlessly on some Big League Chew.
