Ryan Adams's Orion Sells Out in 24 Hours

Ryan Adams's Orion Sells Out in 24 Hours
Well, that was fast. When we reported on Wednesday (May 19) that you might want to pre-order Ryan Adams's "legit metal record", Orion, as soon as possible, we meant it. The album, about whose rarity Adams himself said, "This is an extremely limited pressing. You've been warned," sold out in less than 24 hours.

Adams claimed Orion would not be sold on CD, and was offered solely as a single package that includes one clear, 180-gram LP, artwork by Voivod's drummer, a download card for a high-quality digital copy of the album, and a double-sided 24" by 24" poster.

The sad part, of course, is that the record was limited to two per person, so, "one for me, one for eBay," if you catch our drift. Keep your eye for Orion on the auction site after May 24, when the orders are shipped.

In the meantime, click here to be disappointed.

Thanks to the Daily Swarm for the heads-up.
