Ryan Adams Announces North American Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 22, 2014

Later this year, alt-country dude Ryan Adams will break a long quiet streak with the release of his self-titled solo LP. To coincide with that album, he's now announced a North American tour.

Adams will close out the month and begin August with a handful of shows through the United States. Then, in October, he'll hit the road again, playing throughout North America.

That trek includes four Canadian dates this October, with Adams hitting Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg. The full itinerary is available below.

Ryan Adams will arrive on September 8 via Pax-Am/Blue Note.

In addition, Consequence of Sound reports that the artist is gearing up to release the second single in his Pax-Am 7-inch club. The song is called "1984," and is an "homage to the halcyon days of the earliest releases from Dischord, SST, Touch & Go and their ilk." The single is set to arrive on August 19.
