Ryan Adams will release his latest studio album Prisoner in the new year, but he's teasing us with another new track before 2016 comes to a close.
"To Be Without You" follows lead single "Do You Still Love Me?" (and some live bootlegs), and hears Adams getting very personal.
In a note on Twitter, the singer-songwriter revealed that writing the new record "broke my soul in a zillion pieces," and said that "my life depended on making it." He goes on to say that the upcoming album "was my way through total fucking darkness and things nobody can plan for" — and that's coming from the man that gave us Heartbreaker and Love Is Hell.
