Releasing his new album Ashes & Fire today (October 11), alt-country hero Ryan Adams has debuted the video for "Lucky Now." If that wasn't enough, Adams also appeared on Conan last night to share a rendition of the same track.
Fittingly for a song of an album of that name, the music video features items around the house bursting into flames. There's also some tough-looking chicks roaming the streets while Adams cruises around in a fancy car looking characteristically glum.
As for the Conan appearance, as a self-declared metal super-fan, it's no surprise that Adams took to the stage sporting a Napalm Death shirt, though the performance is decidedly in the acoustic alt-country vein.
Adams will be embarking on a North American tour in December, with a Canadian date at Toronto's Winter Garden Theatre on December 10.
