Russian Circles Announce North American Tour, Play Toronto

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 17, 2011

Back in August, arty prog metal pushers Russian Circles announced that they would be delivering yet another twisted, punishing full-length by month's end called Empros, but that's not the only thing in store for fans this fall. On top of issuing their new album, the band will be hitting stages across North America on their upcoming tour.

The November tour, which begins in Texas, makes its way eastward, rushes back to the West Coast and ultimately winds up back in the band's native Chicago. Amidst all that zig-zagging, the band will make one Canadian tour stop, at Toronto's Lee's Palace on November 12.

Joining the group at various points of the trip will be San Francisco experimental black metal dudes Deafheaven, the always-evolving post-hardcore outfit Young Widows and sludgy noiseniks Helms Alee.

As previously reported, Empros comes out on October 25 via Sargent House.
