Published Aug 24, 2010With a name like the Rural Alberta Advantage, it's only fitting that the indie folk trio spend some more time touring Canada's Western provinces this fall. Come October, the band will hit up such cities as Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria, all the while getting set to release their sophomore album.
As a press release points out, the tour comes as the RAA finish up a busy summer recording the follow-up to their much-loved Hometowns LP. The new album doesn't have a title or firm release date yet, but we do know that it's being produced by Roger Leavens (Woodhands) at Boombox Sound in Toronto, and it's slated for release in early 2011 on Paper Bag Records. And to proved that the band haven't been slackin', they've even released some new in-the-studio photos, which you can see here.
In the meantime, while we patiently sit and wait for RAA's new record, here are those tour dates.
